Ich muss zugeben, das Scrollverhalten am #Touchpad beim Scrollen auf meinem #MacBookPro mit #LinuxMint gefällt mir bisher nicht wirklich.
Thoughts on doing system updates on Linux Mint: Pretty much the same as Windows Update but actually tells you what it's doing, and this can either be reassuring or scary.
Seemed to go fine though, just a bunch of clicking through the visual UI, be not afeared of it if you're thinking about making the switch and are not yet Linux brained!
Apple must have done some nonsense with the iPhone 16 Pro Max because its HEIC images confused my Linux Mint rig despite there being native HEIC/F compatibility.
Took some time to figure it out -Apple being dumb- but thankfully the maintainers of libheif have already addressed the issue. However, the version shipped w/ Mint doesn't have the fix... Yet.

My current research has only #solus and #opensuse tumbleweed + slowroll listed as not vulnerable (version >= 3.8). I don't find libarchive in openSUSE Leap though

Currently I'm kinda stuck between the choice of Linux mint vs Pop_OS...
I feel like CachyOS would be also cool, but I kinda wanna have something more or less stable.
