I'm looking for a vintage case of a mac (II,II X,II FX, II CI, II CX, Quadra 700) , so non-pizza box. I'd consider a Quadra 610/660AV.
I'd limit myself to Switzerland, but could extend to Europe, would prefer a dead device, I'm planning re-use the case to build a " current " workstation. Anyone has some old stuff in their basement ? Getting ready for a little #bikepacking #adventure.
The #Tailfin #AeroPack has been quite a pricey upgrade, but I wouldn't want to miss it anymore.
It's going to be the last trip for my #WTB Raddlers (44mm) which definitely show their mileage and have had a mysterious puncture each that I did not quite get to the bottom of.
They'll be replaced with a pair of #Specialized Pathfinder Pro (42mm).
Looking forward to #nature, being alone, enjoying the #silence, letting my thoughts roam freely.

bo jakiś palant tak dobral tanie druciane opony WTB do obreczy tubeless ready że nie dalo sie ich wyrwać.
zlamalem killa lyzek do opon, probowalem nawet stalowej lyzki do opon samochodowych (z oparciem przez gumowa solidna podkladke na rancie obreczy) i ni diabla.
Siedziala tak sztywno, że tylko cieszę się że robiłem to w zaciszu własnej piwnicy, a nie gdzieś na skraju drogi w ulewie albo palącym słońcu...
w skrócie to po godzinie się poddałem i użyłem nożyc.
zabawne jest w tym tylko jedno: moje stare opony: continental contact speed, tez druciane, założyłem dłońmi. BEZ łyżek ani niczego innego. Po prostu weszły.
Także przestroga dla mnie na przyszłość: WTB riddler ktore zaklada 7anna w ns bikes, rondo i pewnie innych to gówno.
dlaczego wspominam o rondo? Bo kumpel jezdzi na rondo i mial ten sam problem z wtb w tym samym modelu ale innej szerokości.
Ogólnie nie wymagam by producenci zakladali jakieś super opony na obręcze... ale kuzwa niech beda na tyle nie budzetowe by dalo sie je zdjąć poza dobrze wyposażonym serwisem...
bo niektorzy jeżdżą na rowerach bez wozu technicznego i muszą zmienić dętkę np w lesie...

WTF WTB? Warum verbauen deutsche Fahrradhersteller diese Reifen in ansonsten alltagstauglichen Gravelbikes, obwohl sie keinerlei Pannenschutz haben?
Meine erste Ausfahrt mit dem neuen Gravelrad sollte nur durch halb Bielefeld gehen, endete aber mit einem Platten im Hinterrad, der fast zu einem Sturz in der letzten Kurve geführt hätte.
Einen durch Glassplitter verursachten Platten hatte ich in den letzten 20 Jahren nicht mehr, und ich fahre fast jeden Tag. Und das nicht immer mit Marathon-Reifen. Selbst Rennradreifen wie die GP4 haben einen besseren Pannenschutz als die WTB #Riddler.
Laut Hersteller werden die WTB verbaut, weil die cool kids in den USA auch damit fahren. Wenn ich aber ein Gravelrad mit kompletter Straßenausrüstung kaufe, erwarte ich, dass ihm die Glassplitter nichts ausmachen, die mir auf dem Weg zur Arbeit immer wieder unterkommen. Dass es Dornen und Metall widersteht, erwarte ich gar nicht.

Mittwoch war die Rimini-Etappe. Das ist dann schon eine sehr krass überstrapazierte Touri-Ecke... o_O
Entlang der Adria gibt es aber auch genug ruhige und kaum besuchte Plätze.
Was mir im Nachhinein auf dem Foto auffällt (Foto 2): Das Laufrad gibt ca. 3 Tage später den Geist auf (Speiche reisst aus der Felge, nahezu an allen Stellen sind Risse). #gravel #wtb #topstone #cannondale #radreise #bikepacking #piratehamburg
