Mushroom log or tree stump fountain? Which do you prefer?

May I introduce myself? I'm Phymatocerra aterrima, the Solomon's seal #sawfly. My larvae are extreme gourmets: they can eat only leaves of #SolomonsSeal and #LilyOfTheValley. If you kill the habitats of these plants, we can't survive. Therefore, we love the #forests of #VosgesDuNord and our photographer's wild #garden.
It's #fairy: #Polygonatum multiflorum is the fairy tale's key 'Springwurz' that opens all doors - perhaps also the magic viper's cave under the elder tree? #NatureMatchCuts

Macro of Phymatocera aterrima living exclusively on Salomon's seal or Convallaria. It's black (in the sunshine blueish-metallic black) and has 4 crumpled looking wings. The richness of biodiversity depends often on how many different food plants exist for extremely specialised animals like this wasp. Their larvae need leaves of this small spectrum of plants.

Prunus x yedoensis 'Akebono'. A cluster of flowers against an overcast sky. Each flower is single, the petals delicate pink, the pollinia orange. Raindrops on the petals.

Vancouver parks dept suggests this is Prunus avium 'Mazzard', Mazzard cherry, but I'm not quite sure of that. White flowers, single, orange pollinia, fully open, against a white sky. It's a very large, very old tree, with a huge and gnarly trunk.

In a crevice in the gnarly bark of the big Mazzard Cherry, a tiny fairy crouches.

Time for some older art, pretty much the only thing from my Insta I think is worth reposting. Miss this character, their campaign fizzled out pretty quick. Meet Bea the pixie swarmkeeper ranger. They command a swarm of bees with the help of the queen bee, Bibi, who they take everywhere and spoil. My friend also paid me to draw her character in the same campaign, Zara the teifling swashbuckler rouge. Zara is a refined noble lady while Bea is rough-and-touble countryfairy.
