While she moves on unaffected by voices like those of #FFF Germany who have accused her of antisemitism there's not much left from the excitement that Fridays for Future caused five years ago.
As the world oversteps the 1,5 degrees limit consolidated in the Climate Accords of Paris 2015 Greta Thunberg adresses the main problem driving #climatecatastrophe - hierarchic, racist and sexist power relations represented by the richest and militarily strongest states extracting fossil and mineral ressources as human wage work in the Global South to fire up the engine of their industrial machines
leaving uninhabitable wastelands hitten by droughts and heatwaves in regions like occuppied Western Sahara
where e.g. Germany wants to build up green energy production thus supporting the colonizer Marocco against the autonomy of Saharawi people.

The reason why I'm a climate justice activist is that I just care about nature.
It's because I want justice and liberation for everyone. Of course no one is free until everybody is free. And if we are claiming to be climate justice activists fighting vor people's human rights, because of course the climate crisis is a human rights crisis, but are not including the liberation of
Western Sahara and justice and freedom for the Saharawi people, we cannot claim to be fighting for justice. Liberation means liberation for everyone including Western Sahara.

Green colonialism. They're using occupied territories without the consent of the Saharawi people to exploit those lands and claiming that it's for a so-called green transition. We must never fall for these lies, because a green transition cannot happen at the expanse of people.
