I should figure out how to safely move an interconnected setup of multiple docker containers from one host to another while temporarily storing it in some form of offline image.

Background: I have one vserver left on Gentoo linux (don't ask it was the best choice back then) and things like updating the system profile, which is sometimes required as part of security mitigations, takes atrociously long. I just updated GCC and it took a bone crushing 5 hours.

I need help from the #selfhosting bubble. Maybe one of you already got @pixelfed working correctly.

I have installed #Pixelfed on various #vServers with different operating systems (debian and ubuntu | ok, the same family) and also in the form of a #Docker container over the past 14 days.

No matter which way I tried, I ended up with a working instance, which however does not federate correctly. I can't get the following error fixed in the diagnostics:

ACTIVITYPUB instance actor cached: false

If anyone here has any ideas, please, please let me know. I'm getting desperate at this point.

PS: On the internet, the error shows up on various sites and not ONE offers a solution. The threads all run to nowhere at some point.
