I was lucky that the 2 babies came out for dinner last night
Even luckier to get a decent photo with the low light, long exposure and 2x moving targets.
Baby badgers - badglings, badglets, buppies, bittens (?)

I've been feeding a family of badgers through the years.
Recently my trap cam caught 2 youngsters & the mum coming to the garden.
I braved the freezing night air to stand and watch last night, It was so amazing to see, only one turned up but I'll try again tonight, hopefully it'll be a full turn out

„Egoistisch gesehen kommt uns die #Wolfsjagd zu Gute. Wir können 3.000 bis 6.000 Euro mehr im Jahr einnehmen. So viel ist die Abschusslizenz für einen #Wolf bei Versteigerungen wert“, sagt Martín.

Gekauft würden die Abschussrechte für #Hirsche, #Rehe und bald auch wieder für den #Wolf von „Reichen aus der Stadt“. Viele kommen freitags an und reisen sonntags wieder ab. Um erfolgreich zu sein, nehmen sie Leute von vor Ort unter Vertrag, die sie zum #Wild führen.

#Wolfsjagd nicht nötig für Geld
Als die Wolfsjagd erlaubt war, wurden sie angefüttert, das erhöhte die Erfolgsquote für den angereisten, zahlenden Schützen. „Mit #Jagd hat dies nur noch wenig zu tun. Und mit fundierter Kontrolle der Großwildbestände schon gar nicht“
