Könnte mir womöglich wer die Gewichtungs-Unterschiede zwischen den Profilen "Rennrad (sehr wenig Verkehr)", "Rennrad (s.w.V., Alternative), "Randonneur" und "FFMbyBicycle Long Distance" erklären? Also konkret verwundern mich die krassen hm-Unterschiede, bei sehr ähnlichen km. Wird das dann doch mit mehr Bundesstraße o.ä. erkauft? Nutzt Randonneur bevorzugt Radwege?

I've redesigned the download dialog (formerly "Export") for a more streamlined and intuitive experience. Here's what's new:

- Dropdown Menu: Format options have been moved to a dropdown, reducing visual clutter.
- Filename Templates: Default filename now includes route details like start/end points and distance (as known), with the option to use the current date for easy sorting on your GPS device.

Interessant wäre es, die Vegetation entlang der Route als Kostenfaktor beim Routing zu berücksichtigen, um offene Felder mit viel Wind meiden zu können. #bikerouter

Today was #fridayCycleday! I spontaneously added a 10km detour*, and it was glorious!

* I'm happy that the workflow for adding new tracks to my old-ish Garmin works so well: I plan the route on #Bikerouter on my phone, download the track with Locus-style turn instructions, and simply copy it onto the device using a USB-C to Mini-USB cable.

#Biketooter :When planning a #bike #route with #FOSS and #OSM based #routing engines, such as #Brouter / #Bikerouter ,the result analysis frequently shows some #surface percentage as "unknown". I guess that's because the #information is missing in the #OpenstreetMap #database .However, when I upload the same track as #GPX into a #commercial #biking application, such as #Komoot or #Cyclers ,the unknown has disappeared, while they are also based on OSM. How come?

#Routenplanung mit bikerouter.de und dem großen Bildschirm im Büro ist einfach nur toll. Es lohnt sich das Video dazu anzusehen, denn so viele Möglichkeiten schlummern da im Verborgenen.
Wie etwa die Möglichkeit, die Route nach eigenen Präferenzen einfärben zu lassen...

The latest #Bikerouter release introduces a short link feature and improved QR Codes for sharing.

Instead of sharing long and unwieldy links, you can now create a short link directly in the sharing dialog.

When the link is opened, you'll be automatically directed to the correct route and map section on Bikerouter.
