Serge from BabkaOften when I point out antisemitic hate speech on Mastodon.Social, a German person will tell me about the law in Germany and how M.S must remove certain types of hate speech because of the law there.I get these messages from Germans every couple of weeks.The problem is that only applies to a very narrow set of posts, and not other forms of antisemitic speech or hate speech generally.Mastodon.Social complies with the law, but *just* the law.They can say "We remove hate speech" and then define that as "Whatever German law says is hate speech." Which to some means "Anything which is not removed must not be hate speech." Und wenn jemand Hubzilla kennt, dann ist er höchstwahrscheinlich in einer Bubble, in der Hubzilla an sich bekannter ist. Ich schätze, selbst heute wissen mindestens 75-90% aller Fediverse-Nutzer nicht, daß es Hubzilla gibt, geschweige denn, was Hubzilla kann. (Vielleicht gar nicht schlecht; wenn eine kritische Masse auf Mastodon von Hubzilla, seinen Features und vor allem seiner Kultur wüßte, dann gäbe es sicherlich Initiativen zum totalen Fediblocken von ganz Hubzilla.) Und als Tim Berners-Lee Solid startete, hatte er auch noch nie von Hubzilla gehört.
