Linux Audio Plugin Development<p>Much work has gone into transitioning <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/linuxdesktop" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>linuxdesktop</span></a> to <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/pipewire" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>pipewire</span></a> and <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/wayland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>wayland</span></a>.<br>While the former is mostly completed, the same cannot be said for Wayland, at least not from the perspective of <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/linuxaudio" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>linuxaudio</span></a>.<br>Fortunately, thanks to Xwayland, users (and developers) hardly notice this in their everyday lives.<br>However, most of the <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/daw" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>daw</span></a> (s), <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/framework" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>framework</span></a> (s) and <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/plugin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>plugin</span></a> (s) have yet to introduce Wayland support, so, there is still a lot of work ahead.<br>For context, see <a href="https://linuxaudio.dev/#pipewire-and-wayland" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">linuxaudio.dev/#pipewire-and-w</span><span class="invisible">ayland</span></a>.</p>
