Taking nothing away from how appalling the racism of #Starmer is, his speech once again demonstrates how politically inept he is. Everyone knows that if you want to trade in racism and xenophobia as a UK government, that is what the Home Secretary is for. Yvette Cooper clearly understands this principle and has duly been tarnishing her reputation beyond repair these past weeks.
