aeva<p>i made some good progress on my skeleton today</p><p>i now have a python script that extracts the data i want from the DICOM files into numpy arrays and then dumps the numpy arrays into a c++ function i wrote to transform the voxel data into a ply pointcloud, which I then import into <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/blender" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>blender</span></a> and use <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/geometrynodes" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>geometrynodes</span></a> to trim the scan data down to bones etc.</p>

stib<p>Ooh I'm feeling smug. Still a WIP, I've done the surface layer currents, have to add middle and deep ocean currents, but that will have to wait for Monday.</p>

Maniko, meowderator => Eurofurence<p>Over the recent weeks, me and <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://meow.social/@stampy" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>stampy</span></a></span> have been working away on some geometry node tutorials for creating a configurable city - and we're quickly approaching something quite useable - all those buildings were made by me, but are also configurable, with things like signs with custom text, antennas, color tints, light levels, different heights and even multiple rows.
