What's your funniest failure?</p><p>A5: Not a project failure, but a process failure…</p><p>Whilst making my Bat’leth I set my crotch on fire. Embarrassed? Proud? Do you still use or enjoy those things?</p><p>A4. Mostly I am pleased with anything close to the planned results, for needlecrafts aimed at myself. Small flaws and inconsistencies don't bother me.</p><p>I am perhaps more impatient with my visual art than my craft, although I hang on to very rough, imperfect sketches of people from places I have visited or especially conference and event speakers which accompany notes.</p><p><a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/MakersHour" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MakersHour</span></a></p>

I made a dress once that was hilariously ugly, and not on purpose either, just a mismatch between pattern, fabric and me. I don't think I ever wore it, I've long since taken it apart and used the fabric for other things. I'd accidently closed one inside out.
