Also today I installed an Eddi, a gadget from myenergi.com which diverts any surplus production to heat my water, further reducing my reliance on the gas boiler.</p><p>(First, it prioritises charging my <a href="https://eupolicy.social/tags/homebattery" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>homebattery</span></a>. Then it charges my <a href="https://eupolicy.social/tags/EV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>EV</span></a>. Then it heats my water. Only then will it export any surplus to the grid.)</p>
