@apps Here is a minor thing that I noticed in the excellent Fedilab app for Android: When I reply to a post that is a reply to someone else's post, the post draft includes two user handles at the beginning of the message. But the cursor is not placed behind the last of the handles (where I would expect it to go), but behind the first one (i.e., in between the handles if there are two). Is that on purpose and if it's not, would you consider changing it? (And do you even understand what I'm trying to describe? )

I wish the webseite would do this as well, too lazy to do it manually
The idea is that the leading mentioning indicates to who you address your reply, while the trailing mentioning behind your text is to keep the other people related to this thread notified
Its meant to make some visual structure instead of just bulk delivering to all

Yes, that was the idea. In "Settings > Compose" you can check "mentions at the top", it should do what you expect.
@apps Oh I see now, that makes sense. Many thanks! I'll see if I really want to switch that on or keep the default, as in this post.
By the way I don't think I would have found that option in the settings given the description. Would it make sense to consider rewording it, making it more explicit about what it does: 'In replies, the cursor is placed after all mentions rather than between the first and all following ones'? That's what it does, isn't it? Regardless of whether the setting is on or off, you can still manually move the cursor to your preferred spot.
