Apple’s photo syncing is such utter garbage. It’s now been uploading 6 photos for 15 minutes. This screenshot however synced immediately. Nothing I can do either, but kill Photos and restart, which usually works. Unreliable crap.

I’m “finally” experiencing #iCloud sync issues with my #Obsidian vault. On my iPad basically iOS doesn’t #sync down files properly and when I open them from Obsidian they are empty. I remember a few other people were experiencing this a while ago but I can’t remember who or how they solved.

what is the best method of writing local markdown files (I'd love to use mark0r), but most importantly that it auto-syncs to a server someplace (ideally nextcloud, but just a ssh/web is cool too). no rooting possible on the phone, but have access to nextcloud or/and vps.

i would expect nextcloud client to do that buy I'm failing to find a way where I can save something in a local folder on Android and NC client would autosync that with server. maybe I'm saving to a wrong folder?

Manchmal ärgere ich mich, wenn ich zum Beispiel in der Konsole auf A einen Befehl habe, aber auf System B nicht und ich kann mich daran dann auch nicht mehr erinnern, weil ich eigentlich sehr viel mit Pfeil-nach-oben arbeite.

Oder alleine schon aliasse oder Hyprland settings syncen usw - sowas fehlt mir irgendwie und ich überlege das die Files per sync auf nen lokalen Server zu pushen und ggfs abzuholen

Folks who know "rsync -F" because they already use it -- am I right in thinking that it adds these behaviours to a sync:

- recursively look for .rsync-filter files in every directory in the copy source, including the top-level

- apply the filters they each contain to the directory and subdirectories rooted at the same level that each file was found

- exclude those .rsync-filter files from being copied to the destination

I've read some horror stories with Mega Sync on Reddit, like files that gets deleted for no reason, or account that gets locked. .
