Sure, I know that scraping and bandwidth issues are problems. But the problems that people actually point to are web sites with LLM-generated slop on them. And I'm like "Why are you visiting those sites?" I'm genuinely confused by this argument.

Open social media, like the Open Social Web, can be the answer.
