It still surprises me, in 2025, that people are still surprised that C# can be used on #mcu, #soc, #desktop, #server, etc....
Just the other day I was in a meeting with an #android #sbc vendor and they were completely taken by surprise that we don't just a lot of #java but mostly #csharp. It's like people get out of school with the knowledge they have and never learn anything new.

The people editing the trailers for Marvel's "Thunderbolts*" are really doing an excellent job, _especially_ with the short social media ones.

For example, look at this one. I was watching it on my phone, in portrait, full screen, and I started smiling in appreciation at the start, when the picture flips but the logo is upright and the motorcycle looks almost correct, in a strange way. This is perfection.

I want to like Daredevil Born Again but... I don't know. I guess the fact that it was full of rewrites and reshoots is just too visible. It doesn't feel like a story or a season or something, but a patchwork of stories bundled up together and in the end, it really lacks focus.

There are some very good moments, but it's also just too messy overall and goes into too many directions.

Hopefully season two will be more focused.

Also, I know, I'm the one who always complains about unnecessary cameos and stuff, but the show feels quite remote from the rest of the MCU. The ending of the season should have some implications on the greater MCU and all the superheroes that are NY residents, but I suspect it won't. Oh well.

Just ordered some parts to prototype a piezoelectric an experimental tactile interface for "feeling" visual textures.

I ordered a piezoelectric actuator, some through hole op-amps to drive it, a breadboard, some prototyping wire, some 1/8" prototyping jacks, an assortment of through hole resistors, and a big box of small plastic drawers to organize my parts.

I'm gonna drive the piezoelectric actuator by driving the op-amp with the audio out from my sound card on my PC. I'm planning to prototype a tiny MCU and tiny camera separately.

I'm so excited for this project.

You certainly feel the change in staffing and direction Daredevil Born Again season one got in its two final episodes. It's a good change. It's fitting, but it's also fucking grim.

Looking forward to season two.

GOD DAMN!! What a FINALE!!! No spoilers here, but I need Jon Bernthal to get his own show or film or series of films or animated shorts or anything. I just need more FRANK right now! That is GOD TIER casting and I want to mouth kiss Feige for bringing him back to MARVEL.

Overall, I liked the first season of Daredevil Born Again, but you can definitely tell that it was Frankensteined out of two creative visions. I look forward to a more cohesive second season.

I like Jeremy Renner's take on the character of Clint Barton, and the way he's been written for the MCU. Rewatching the Hawkeye series with a young family member, I notice that the way it's written really makes the most of the series format. With one episode for each day's events, there's too much story to cram into a movie, even a 3 hour one.

Most of the MCU series I can do without, but I enjoy this one.
