Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres… different names, same core principles (RAC, Data Guard, ASM, Always On…), each with its own quirks. Oracle’s just a bit more complex with less accessible tools. But SAP HANA? Feels like going back to the Middle Ages every time I used it. It’s been a while since I touched SAP, but that experience stuck with me.

Mein #MSSQL docker container ist nachhaltig verärgert, so dass er nicht mehr starten möchte. Nun möchte aber auch die #Docker Engine nicht mehr starten.

Die letzte Option ist das ganze System neu zu starten. Das mache ich jetzt.

Was genau zum Problem geführt hat, weiss ich nicht. Ich habe einen Index hinzugefügt für eine Spalte auf einer Tabelle in einer DB, diesen wieder gelöscht und dann einige Abfragen (SELECT) getätigt.

Manchmal bin auch ich einfach nur Anwender.
