Four additional picnic shelters that were designed by noted Modern architect Irving Grossman were added to the park in 1962. His shelters looked like clustered parasols and were primarily located along the footpath from the on Hanlan’s Point ferry dock.

When I'm headed to a show at #toronto's Fox Theatre, I try to leave some extra time for a walk around one of my favorite haunts, the Palace of Purification just a few blocks down Queen St. It always looks a little magical as the light fades away into night..
