Ich habe mir jetzt endlich mal die Zeit genommen, mir die #codingskills von #ChatGPT 4o anzuschauen. Als alter Coder wollte ich einfach mal wissen, wie sich das Ding schlägt, wenn man es ein bisschen fordert.
tl;dr: Wow. Einfach Wow.
Klar, man darf dem Code nicht blind über den Weg trauen, aber das Ding coded erstmal locker auf dem Niveau eine ausgebildeten Fachinformatikers, so lange man Funktionen will, die halbwegs Mainstream sind. In Randbereichen wird es eng, da merkt man das fehlende Trainingsmaterial. Aber 90% der meisten Programme sind eh stupider Boilerplate-Code. Die kann KI heute schon ziemlich zuverlässig erzeugen. Und wir reden hier von relativ guter Codequalität. Sauber formatiert, sprechende Variablen, sinnvoll kommentiert.
Gefährdet das jetzt die Arbeitsplätzer meiner Entwickler?
Ganz sicher nicht. Aber es wird ihnen viel lästige Tipparbeit abnehmen, so dass sie sich auf die fachlich spannenden Dinge konzentrieren können. Ich glaube, sie werden es lieben.
