- As for "#ProofOfStake" instead of "#ProofOfWork", that is just flatout a blatant #lie once one looks at the system requirements to get a #Validator up and running on #Ethereum or #Solana. @laprice pressing X for doubt cuz @signalapp does have #ToS and obviously both the ability and willingness if not being legally mandated to close down accounts - regardless if a "duely issued warrant" or #CloudAct.
- Neither @Mer__edith nor #Moxie nor anyone else at #Signal is gonna risk jailtime protecting others given that unlike Mafia 'scapegoats' they don't get paid for shutting up and serving time.
Signal being abused is a statistical inevitability and it's one thing to claim to not know the contents vs. knowingly ignoring abuse complaints.
- Cuz #OCILLA only covers their ass legally until the point they get to know certain abuses. After that (+ a certain grace period for duely investigating validity) that doesn't apply anymore.

I recently introduced [metered.ca](http://metered.ca) for the STUN/TURN servers and the stability has hugely improved and so i'd like to ask for your feedback if you'd like to try it out.
Data isnt persisted (yet), so each page refresh will clear all keys.

@hiphopheaven Great point and i absolutely agree.
I think for many coming to the #fediverse happens out of curiosity as well as it being a generally safe space for marginalized people.
They then see the cool things this place has to offer and get excited about it even more so. That's the trend i've watched since 2017.
But then their friends won't join and that sometimes affects whether or not they stay, go or use both #centralized & #decentralized platforms.

Two main branches of our code exist today: one from Opencaching-PL and one from Opencaching-DE (Opencaching.pl actually branched off two decades ago). What site runs on which code? Check out the diagram!
No matter the code branch, all our sister-sites work together thanks to OKAPI! This project connects the entire Opencaching network, allowing anyone to build an app to access geocaches across all participating sites through one API
In a way, our network is a decentralized, interconnected platform, just like the Fediverse!
