In Issue 04 of Ind.Cyber.Sec Letters, Volume 01 (2024), it was discussed that individuals continue to rely on passwords that are easily guessed or cracked—both in personal and organizational contexts.
Now, leveraging the #CredentialLookout module and trackers available on the #StealthMole platform, I have estimated the number of leaked accounts on the #DarkWeb and #DeepWeb that use the top 5 most common passwords in Brazil, as identified in the "2024 Research Insights: Top 200 Most Common Passwords" by #NordPass, in collaboration with #NordStellar.
See the key findings below.

I got nothing for Signal. I used my brother's phone number but the 6 digit verification number just doesn't come.. He doesn't even know what Signal app is, so I doubt he used his phone number to sign up.
Guess this isn't the day to meddle with Signal. "No Signal" I guess :(
I'mma stick with SimpleX chat. This and the email. I dunno about Matrix+Element though
I now have SimpleX Chat, lol. Idk I was bored so I set one up!
To anyone interested in hitting me up, spam, negative shit or just normal conversations, here's my address (note I won't be online all the time. I'm dealing with something serious right now)
From 8.35 TiB to 8.70 TiB! Yay!
This one's now more accurate since it's been more than a week now.
Goddamn... 8.70 TiB. That's so much bandwidth coming from a mere home network but like I've said, WE REALLY HAVE UNLIMITED BANDWIDTH !!!
Monthly estimated bandwidth donated is down from 8.48 TiB to 8.35 TiB. Alright...
Snowflake proxy update 7
Uptime: 7d 14:41
Total download bandwidth donated: ~1.20 TB
Total upload bandwidth donated: ~1.26 TB
Last screenshot before I put the Snowflake proxy down for a bit to do some changes in the BIOS (more below)
Total estimated bandwidth donated went down from 8.53 to 8.48 but that's alright.
rx = 4.15 TiB (4.56 TB)
tx = 4.33 TiB (4.76 TB)
total = 8.48 TiB (9.32 TB)
Snowflake proxy update 6
Uptime: 7d 08:27
Total download bandwidth donated: ~1.07 TiB (1.18 TB)
Total upload bandwidth donated: ~1.12 TiB (1.23 TB)
Finally, a week has passed... I dunno. It just feels really awesome to do this for free.
Our internet got cut off for about 6 hours or so (for some reason) so yeah it tanked down to 8.53 TiB, but that's still big honestly. A decent HDD has that amount of space.
Still an estimated 10 TiB donated in a month..
Just a tiny little higher, 10.81 TiBinstead of 10.73 TiB from last measurement.
Snowflake proxy update 4
Uptime: 5d 02:35
Total download bandwidth donated: ~877 GiB
Total upload bandwidth donated: ~917 GiB
Just a little more till the first terabyte...
These past few days I've been noticing the increased network usage of my standalone Snowflake proxy vm at night times (UTC timezone). Idk, just an observation.
Graph's from my Proxmox server WebGUI, btw.
HOLY! Estimated 10 TiB in a fucking month?!?!
There's no way. I gotta wait a week for a more accurate measurement but.. how in the actual fuck?!
