This weekend the #Benediction Coding Party #5 is taking place and the #Condense-team finally released their conversion of #Sonicthehedgehog.
You need an #Amstrad 464/6128 plus or a #GX-4000 with C4CPC or M4 to play this stunning masterpiece that took seven years of development.
I've never managed to ship anything for the #AmstradCPC, my attempts so far at writing something decent for the CPC (2 or 3 so far) have all failed miserably.
Obviously, it's time for another attempt, isn't it?

I developed this ADCPM 16-bit decompression code for the SAM Coupe in 1997. In this example with a playback rate of 11KHz ~490K of memory gives 3 minutes of audio. Updated routines gave higher playback rates and oversampling.
More creepy #Halloween shenanigans on the #SAMCoupe! But what makes it even more spooky is that it's a #VIC20 cartridge plugged in the back to play 'The Count' adventure!
